Galina's body seemed sheathed in something other than a dress. It reflected the cafe candlelight so evenly that all you could see was a sort of glowing, perfect shape, with supple limbs extending out as if from a fire.
DESCRIPTION: Mollie Parnis was an American designer working under her own name from the 1940s through the 1970s. She dressed several American first ladies, including Mamie Eisenhower, Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford and Rosalynn Carter. This dress is a perfect example of her work - it's got a distinct air of flirtatious sass but still manages to stay firmly in the land of good taste!
